The Passion facade's bronze doors at the Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona, features a 4x4 magic square. Whilst summation across rows, columns and diagonals is the same, this is not a normal magic square because two numbers are repeated (14 and 10) and two are missing (12 and 16). The magic constant 33 is the age of Jesus at the time of the Passion, and is the reason for why this number is associated with Christ Consciousness in esoteric thinking.

Coral Castle in Florida is a remarkable oolite limestone creation. It was developed by Edward Leedskalnin over a period of 28 years from the early 1920's. How he single-handedly moved the megalithic structures remains a mystery. Symbolism abounds as we see in this obscure sculpture. It appears to describe the workings of the left and right hemispheres of the brain, which corresponds with its Earthbody location in an aspect of the Earth's Cerebrum! Notice the central face. The wavy structure on top resembles a crown, which is apt. The right hemisphere has open shell detail as would be expected of the receptive Sacred Feminine. The left hemisphere has an abundance of square shapes and 4 tapered steps behind it, which we also observe at Earthbody to correspond with the Divine Masculine. The fan shaped piece of coral on the top right, resembles sun's rays - rays of wisdom/consciousness. Most interesting is the emphasis on the star polaris throughout Coral Castle and a small lookout hole in this sculpture on the middle right edge for its observation. Polaris is the pole star and from an esoteric perspective, represents our core. We have to be centered to find our bearing in life.

Using nature to nurture is what this 'Insect Hotel' does in the amazing Babylonstoren garden. Attracting 'good' insects to 'destroy' harmful pests minimises the need for artificial pest control.

A fantastic example of function fitting an Earthbody location. The Temple of Kom Ombo is located within the greater Sacral Chakra of Egypt. This panel depicts the goddesses Isis and Nephthys on delivery chairs which is in keeping with Sacral Chakra pregnancy and caesarian birthing themes. To the right of the panel are all the tools used to perform surgery - cutters, knives, saws, sponge, jars, needles, spoons and scales to weigh.

The enigmatic flower of life symbol is found in the most curious of places. The top two images are from the Osireion, in Abydos. Egypt, where several flower of life symbols appear high up on a massive granite pillar. The lower two images are from the Temple of Aphaia on the island of Aegina in Greece. Flower of life symbols appear in fragments of stonework.

From ancient times, eye symbolism has been used to represent the 'all seeing eye' - he who sees and knows all. The ancient Egyptian symbol of the Eye of Horus and modern day Greek 'evil eye' amulet have similar protective functions, warding off ill will from others.

This 'cloud' over the rock of Gibraltar bears an uncanny resemblance to a flying saucer.

When people tune into their Earthbody locations amazing things happen. This unusual Berry Farm is located in the Pituitary Gland (Third Eye Chakra) in the Orange Free State, South Africa. There's an obvious similarity in appearance between a hanging berry and the shape of a pituitary gland. The owner (with fantastic blue eyes) was inspired to build a pyramid. Notice also, the number of his property - the master number 33, which is associated with Christ Consciousness.

Small but grand, this is the exquisite painted reed frog. Colouring develops on sexual maturity as does its impressive vocal capacity.

Lithops are a genus of succulent plants native to southern Africa. Their name derives from the Greek word for stone, which describes their stone-like appearance. They are often referred to as pebble plants or living stones because of their clever way of blending in with the surrounding stones to avoid being eaten.

Expanding perception requires that we look at things from different angles. Like the rock of Gibraltar which looks pretty ordinary 'face' on; turned sideways and the face of a man emerges. Coincidence or a clue to something far more significant?

The mysterious Messum Crater in Namibia comprises two concentric rings of a ~130 million year old collapsed volcano. It's around 20km in diameter and is home to a huge variety of lichen species and the remarkable Welwitschia Mirabilis plant. The biggest known example is found in the crater. Botanists speculate that some plants may be at least 2000 years old. This photo is of a male plant. Like all Welwitschias, its two main leaves extend several metres and have split giving the appearance of multiple leaves around its crown.

Do the residents in southern Johannesburg know what wonders may be found on their doorstep? Look at this abundance of stone circles!

The opening lines of Genesis in Greek translate as follows: "In the beginning was the word, and the word was before the Gods and God was the word." Gods and God appear to be different beings. Ancient creation texts of the Sumerians and Mayans also speak of Gods who came to Earth from the stars by God's instruction, and engineered our origins.

An entire ecosystem within a few centimetres: Heat-loving photosynthetic microbes live in mats along the Grand Prismatic geyser runoff channels at Yellowstone. They’re like miniature forests – having both vertical and stratified function. Microbes at the top (like a forest canopy) use sunlight to perform photosynthesis, which fuels the mat community; organisms living deeper in the mat (forest floor) get their energy from chemicals produced by the surface microbes and perform vital functions such as decomposition and recycling nutrients to the mat’s canopy. Miniature forests like these affirm Earthbody's macrocsm-microcosm view of the world.

Evidence of New York's glacial history is found throughout Central Park. The Wisconsin glaciations around 20 000 years ago covered the city to a depth of 300 metres. As the ice flowed over the landscape it smoothed, scratched and gouged the underlying schist bedrock. The glacial pavements at Oorlogskloof at Nieuwoudtville in South Africa were similarly produced but by much older ice flows, around 300 million years ago, when southern Africa as part of the Gondwana continent migrated over the South Pole. Rock fragments transported in the base of the glaciers scratched and gouged the smooth sandstone floor leaving the telltale ridges and grooves.

Circular barren patches of land called fairy circles in the Namib desert have been investigated for the last 40 years. Theories range from termite activity to differences in soil nutrients, toxic underground gases or competition for scarce water. Their mysterious nature has deepened with a recent discovery. Fairy circle patterns bear an uncanny resemblance to skin cell patterns of organization.

Polygonal masonry on the southern retaining wall of the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, Greece. This wall stretches for 90 metres and many of the blocks are inscribed and coloured. Cement has not been used and joints often curve indicating skills rarely seen anywhere else other than Delphi.

Estimated at 60 tonnes, the Hoba Meteorite is thought to have impacted Earth 80 000 years ago. It's distinctive for three reasons: Firstly, it's the largest single-piece meteorite thus far known to exist. Secondly, it's the most massive naturally occurring piece of iron with an 84% iron composition, and thirdly, it's unusual in that it's flat on both sides. From an Earthbody perspective, the Hoba Meteorite is located within an aspect of the Earth's lungs and is thus an excellent location to visit for insights and relief of respiratory issues.

Stone circles like this one in Waterval Boven in South Africa, often have distinctive stone markers in walls. If the stone circles were originally intended to be cattle kraals, as conventional archaeologists would like us to believe, why would such a feature have been necessary?

Nature always wins!

An orb-filled evening sky in Hoi An, Vietnam. There's clearly more than what the human eye can see.

The Organ Pipes in the Twyfelfontein area of Namibia formed around 130 million years ago during the break up of the Gondwana Supercontinent. This event was accompanied by lava eruptions like the Organ Pipe dolerites, which contracted during cooling to create impressive vertical columns. How? The top of the lava flow cooled faster than the bottom, causing contraction and fracturing. This fracture pattern propagated down the lava as it cooled, forming long geometric columns. In cross section, the columns are polygonally shaped, giving the impression that they've been artificially constructed.

Every little detail counts in the grand 'mosaic' of life. This magnificent man face mosaic panel is a great example. It's made up of seemingly arbitrary small pieces of glass. Close up it looks like nothing. Step away, and the big picture emerges.
