I've found one such place. From my first visit I felt totally at ease there, as if I was being rejuvenated just by the sheer fact that I could let go of all my worries and worldly responsibilities whilst I sat there, soaking in the beauty and simplicity.

My place, a home of sorts away from home, is Noordhoek, here in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. And more specifically (especially if needing amenities! whilst savouring nature) the Noordhoek Ski Boat Club. This location is a safe place where I feel infused with lightness due to the constant visual absorption of natural beauty and ocean. It is a literal harbour, used for the multitude of fishing boats that launch from there. For me it is a symbolic harbour, a safe haven that shelters me whilst I relax, have fun and enjoy family time without the weight of shoulds, musts, could've, ought to and so on.

A few weeks back I did a few “how-to” videos for Earthbody. And I purchased a few readings to show as examples, however I never used them. Today, whilst sitting in a contemplative mood as to how I can be more of service AND be generating additional income streams for myself, I veered off the contemplation and randomly decided to plot my favourite location in Port Elizabeth (now called Gqeberha) using Earthbody’s Eyemap Model. I had 2 readings still available for use but couldn’t for the life of me remember what reading theme/modules they were. It didn’t matter. I was procrastinating. And being curious.

I plotted Noordhoek Ski Boat Club and I was intrigued at it being an aspect of the Liver, which is part of the Digestive system. By immediate association, game style, the fact that it is an aspect of the liver whilst being a place of Sunday lunches, much braaiing and is also a bar, made me smile at how wonderfully and beneficially this club is placed. Here, people who love life, enjoy the sea, fish, surf, spearfish, kitesurf etc can also enjoy a drink and a family braai on the open fire pits. They are receiving ‘ground support’ from Mother Earth to digest their lives whilst held in Mother Nature’s arms. These people, healthy in their attitude towards living life fully and with activity and family/community, are supported in the expression of these attitudes.

For those that visit the club that are living outdated or harmful beliefs and views about their lives, they might struggle with liver issues, detox issues, digestive issues or harmful build up of acid (resentment) and constipation (can’t let go). Alcoholism or drug abuse might become exacerbated as the liver is the processing plant for the toxins consumed by us. Toxicity that keeps outdated views of life in place for some people may occur due to them not ‘digesting’ their life situations with awareness and new perspectives. They therefore seek out to further in-toxic-ate themselves in a slow desire to bring ‘spirit’ and ‘connection’ back into their lives. As the liver sits within the 3rd/Solar Plexus Chakra area, people visiting the area that are not aware of their wounded or unhealthy belief systems may find that they experience will and power related issues, be it in relationships or within. They may be experiencing shame, guilt, regret and many other unhealthy, undigestible beliefs and thoughts about themselves.

Noordhoek Ski Boat Club for me, is a very special location driven with a strong vision and mission to create a safe place for sea and nature loving families and people. It promotes a love for life filled with relaxing and unwinding amongst friends and family whilst enjoying the finer things in life. Life is for living. So use it!
